Reishi Mushroom Extract 15:1 (Fruiting Body) 30% Polysaccharide is a yellow/ brown powdered extract of Ganoderma lucidum. It is known in Japan as Reishi and in China as Lingzhi.

The main bio actives of Ganoderma Lucidum are the triterpenoids (Ganodermic acids, Ganodermic Alcohols, and Lucidenic Acids) and polysaccharides. Ganoderma Lucidum extracts appear to be a sedative, able to induce relaxation and sleep whilst decreasing spontaneous movement when awake (this is ideally paired with other ingredients such as valerian). Reishi extract may also prevent chronic fatigue long-term. Studies also suggest that Reishi Mushroom extracts can moderate immune function.
