PABA is a water-soluble member of the B-complex. It is said to help form folic acid and is important in the utilization of protein. It also helps in the assimilation of pantothenic acid.

PABA is said to be good for reducing the pain of burns, keeping skin smooth and healthy, delaying the formation of wrinkles and some people claim that taking it with Folic acid has returned greying hair back to its natural colour.
