Inositol

Inositol is a water-soluble member of the B complex and is a lipotropic. It combines with choline to form lecithin and also metabolizes fats and cholesterol. Like choline, it has been found important in nourishing brain cells.

Inositol has been reported to help lower cholesterol levels, promote healthy hair and aid in the prevention of baldness. It can be effective in preventing eczema and can aid in the redistribution of body fat. Some people claim it has a calming effect.
