For the second year running the Cambridge Commodities cycling team are taking on Prudential RideLondon to raise money for Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT).
What is Prudential RideLondon?
Prudential RideLondon is a cycling festival taking place on the 4th August. The event attracts over 25,000 cyclists for the gruelling 100-mile ride in Surrey, starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic park and ending at The Mall in central London.
Who is ACT?
ACT is the only registered charity (no 1170103) dedicated to supporting innovation in patient care across Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Addenbrooke’s and the Rosie hospitals. Whether it's treatment for an emergency, acute condition, pregnancy or long-term illness, ACT believe that every patient deserves the highest quality of care available and through fundraising we know we can help them make a difference.
ACT has touched many of our lives here at CC, as a local hospital with a nationwide reach, we are proud to support them with their life changing initiatives. This challenge is going to be tough but we can’t wait to see the impact our fundraising will have.
